Charity Work
The MS Readathon
During the months of October and November, Clondulane NS pupils from 1st to 6th class participated in the 2018 MS Readathon. The pupils tried their best to read as many books as possible and to collect sponsorship at the same time. Altogether we raised €2,300 for MS Ireland. There were prizes for certain amounts of sponsorship money collected. For €20 you would receive a wooden yo – yo. For €40 you would receive a MS Readathon drawstring backpack. For €80 you would receive a hover ball. Everyone enjoyed collecting money and reading books for MS Ireland and are looking forward to next year’s MS Readathon. By Ethan & Ryan

Here in Clondulane N.S. we are collecting used batteries as part of the “Weee Pledge 2 Schools Recycling Challenge. When we have 10 boxes filled Weee Ireland will collect them from our school and they will make a donation to LauraLynn, Ireland’s Children’s Hospice on our behalf.
For EVERY battery box we fill €5 goes directly to LauraLynn, Ireland’s Children’s Hospice. So please keep collecting and encourage others to help fill those boxes too.
This is our first lot of boxes ready for collection!
